- Take Highway 24 West from Colorado Springs through Divide
- Drive straight at the stoplight in Divide, ignoring the sign that reads turn left to Cripple Creek. Now, proceed approximately 1.5 miles and turn left at blue sign for the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center
- Turn left onto Highway 42 (Twin Rocks Road)
- Follow Highway 42 for 6 miles to County Road 1
- Turn right on CR 1 and continue north to Cripple Creek
